Why won't AA work with my 2013 Ford C-Max with SYNC MyTouch?

Maybe I'm not "getting it" about Android Auto - now sitting there dumbly taking up space on my HTC One phone running Lollipop - but is it perhaps because it works only with new cars designed to integrate with it?

If that's not right - and there is some interface I need to get, what is it?

I'm guessing I speak for many others who'd love to take advantge of AA's functionality -- and bypass SYNC and Ford's crappy nav system if we can!

Yes, you're correct. You need either a new car designed to work with it or an aftermarket system installed.
