Why won't facebook messenger voice notes play all the way?

I have a galaxy s22 ultra for about 4 months now. FB Messenger has worked perfectly until recently. Now my voice chats from my friends will not play all the way through if they are longer than 35 seconds they cut off the last 5 to 10 seconds. If I go to website for facebook and ay them through the web site they work, my friends have I fones and they don't have this issue. Only on androids I have encountered this issue. My wife has an IPhone and they ay all the way thru. So it's not a bug with messenger app. I thinking a bug on android devices.

Try restarting the phone , if still a issue then clear data and then force stop messenger app to reset it .

Hey mate did you find a fix? I've had the same problem with nothing I can do to fix. Even tried Facebook messanger lite and it still does the same thing

Hello, I have the same exact issue as OP. However by opening messenger in browser mode on my mobile did fix it.

What could be the long-term solution?

Probably see if a update will fix it in the app but for now if web version works then use it for now, Your Welcome

There are no updates and I tried multiple times to uninstall/install the app.. I guess we will have to wait.

Yeah wait and see for next update available, maybe contact Facebook also let them know.

Hello there , Primary is not english

Everything was OK until couple days ago :

We are may 11 2022 , i got a s22 and a s7 (wifi only) , i started 4-5 days ago having the same exact issue on Voice Note... dont matter the lenght of the message anything i record or receive , there is a high risk of missing a part of IT

if i go on my s22 right now and i listen to the msg i know that are incomplete ... they are still imcomplete , Wifi 3g LTE .. but if i load my s7 and go in messenger ALL THOSE MESSAGE bugged msg on s22.... 100% OK on s7 . Also ppl receiving my msg have no issue

So it has something to do with Samsung OneUI or Messenger on the DECODING of the voice ..fix patch updates ?

they are fine on other device ... easy to trouble shoot messenger is shared among device ..

Reboot
re install FB and Messenger
climb on a chair holding my s22 in the skye ...

if i google this ... no where arround i find this except in this forums...
