Why won't Huawei Honor 7 Lite be recognized by my computer?

So I have Huawei Honor 7 Lite phone, and I wanted to move some files from the phone to the PC, but I couldn't do that. All the time it's just recognizing My CD Drive with Huawei HiSuite installer on it. I tried installing Huawei HiSuite, but it still didn't work, neither the phone got recognized by it. I've tried many times switching HDB and ADB on and off, and only one time it worked, but the files i needed weren't there. I am running windows 10 64bit, the phone is running Android 7.0 Nougat. Oh and also, why can't I access the cat collection minigame on the phone, on my old phone with custom firmware it worked.

When you connect via USB, swipe the notification panel down and tap the USB icon -- make sure it's set to MTP.

The Android easter eggs don't always show up -- it depends on the manufacturer. Huawei presumably removed it in their build.
