Why won't my battery charge?

After doing galaxy update battery will not charge

First thing I'd recommend is the old cache clear
power your phone off then hold down the power button home button and volume up key until you boot into recovery. now use your volume rocker to select wipe cache and hit the power button to make it happen. see if that fixes things for you.
