Why won't my Droid Ultra detect a USB connection?

Droid Ultra wont detect a USB connection

I tried factory resetting my phone (Droid Ultra) to fix an issue, but it wiped my music, so when i hooked it up to my PC, my PC didn't recognize it and nothing popped up like it usually did, then I realized my phone doesn't either, it just charges, doesn't notice its connects to a PC though.

Welcome to Android Central! When you connect via USB, do you get a USB connection notification at the top of the screen? If so, swipe down, tap the notification, and make sure MTP is selected.

I dont, I have it selected in Settings > Storage > USB Computer Connection though. When I plug it in nothing pops up. I'm assuming its my phone since my PC is working fine and I know the USB port Im trying works, I've also tried every other USB port.

Can you try a different USB cable?
