Why won't my Froyo'd N1 go horizontal?

So landscape homescreens are supposed to work out of the box, right? What am I doing wrong?

I wasn't aware of landscape homescreens being a feature in Froyo for the N1. But I'm sure I could be wrong.

Huh? I didn't see that feature listed anywhere .. doesn't do it on mine.

On mine, I get right or left orientation while inside an app, but no 360 rotation or home screen landscape.

I've seen it talked about that hs rotation is working too...but not here.

Grab LauncherPro Beta from the market and you will get:

1. Choose a range between 2 and 7 Home Screens
2. Pinch screen to see mini cards of Home Screens
3. Ability to rotate left or right your Home Screens
4. Adds 4 app icons to lower dock (future release will allow customization)

Runs great on Nexus One with Froyo

Are you talking on Nexus one or android in general. Because 2.0 was meant to do that. (and its a feature I miss constantly)

since this is in the nexus one forum, i meant specifically for the nexus one. obviously the Droid from motorola has landscape homescreen. but nexus does not:(

lol. Thanks, guys. Yeah, I was reading it like the home screens were supposed to rotate now. Guess not. Can't wait for Cyanogen to get the source code. :)
