Why won't my Galaxy 10.1 delete the browsing history?

galaxy 10.1 won't delete browsing history

I've tried deleting my galaxy tab 10.1's browsing history by the usual route (opening browser, opening menu from the bottom of the screen, going to Settings, Privacy, Delete Personal Data, checking off all the boxes and hitting Done. When I hit the back arrow on the browser home page, I get a previously visited web page. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Internet browser, or Chrome, or some other browser?

Try going to the App Manager, select the browser you're using, and Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now try again.
