Why won't my Galaxy 5 charge with the original charger?

why wont my galaxy 5 charge with origional charger

My galaxy five is saying the charger isn't compatible and I need to use the original one. It is the original and I have tried other original Samsung chargers as well. So it is recognizing that it is plugged in but wont charge. It is saying it wont charge to prevent damage to the phone.

Welcome to Android Central.

Yes, that sometimes occurs. Check that the USB lead is good - such as by using another - and that the USB port is clean and undamaged.
