Why won't my Galaxy S4 download MP3s anymore?

I tried to download a song in my MP3 app today, but nothing happened. The downloading icon appeared, but nothing ever downloaded. The progress bar kept flashing, but the download never started. I thought maybe it was my app, so I uninstalled it. However, now when I download ANY MP3 app from the play store, they all look exactly the same! Not only that, but the MP3s won't download. I ran my virus scanner, but it didn't detect anything. Help!!

Welcome to Android Central! I'm assuming that if these MP3 downloaders are in the Play Store, they're legit--these kinds of apps can easily approach the borderline of being illegal, if they're downloading MP3s that aren't supposed to be free. Try going to the App Manager, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

I tried that. It still doesn't work. I don't understand why all the music apps look the same when I open them. I don't think they're supposed to look like that. I will attach a picture.

I have also formatted my SD card, rebooted my phone a million times, taken the battery out...nothing seems to be working

It doesn't matter which app I use. I've downloaded several and they all end up looking exactly the same (even though they shouldn't). None are working.

I'm trying to find out the name of the downloader app so I can look at the reviews in Google Play, to see if there are any similar issues that people are facing. Also to see if there is a developer email to contact.

I am also having this issue with my s3. I have tried everything could think of and still nothing.

all that i have tried to use look the same and do the same thing. Say they start the download but nothing happens

I have the same problem..was using copyleft then tried a few others..even mp3 downloader best...all look the same when opening and have a disclaimer about downloads..my girlfriend has same phone but her downloader works fine..I tried hers and it won't work for me...just appears the same as the other apps but on her phone it appears and works correctly..help!

By the way..we both have s3 with 4.1.2....she is using using mp3 music download best..a big red ball with headphones is the logo..I had copyleft but deleted and tried all the top ones in playstore..all look like copyleft now

I also tried to download on to my tab4 it does the same thing. Wondering if it has to do with Google play.

I am having that exact same issue, I've tried about six or seven different apps and they all look the same, none of them work, my GF has the same phone as me (note 4) and hers looks exactly like the screen shots up top, she was also getting the disclaimer warnings for a couple days, they eventually stopped and she's now able to download everything. Any idea what I can do!? All my apps look different than hers does BTW.

Hay all to those who have the problem of their Samsung not downloading I had the same problem but I fixed it what I did was went to settings>app manager and I went to the disabled section and I enabled all the things that had to do with Google then I tried downloading a song and it worked give it a try maybe it will help
