Why won't my Galaxy S6 turn on? Holding buttons down doesn't work!

A while back, I got a Galaxy S6. Soon after, I realized it was broken because of some loose part in the camera, Verizon took it back, and I got a new phone free. This phone was refurbished. I took good care of it, I never dropped it or cracked it. But soon I discovered it would freeze and glitch where the only option was to hold down the power button and volume down button for 7 seconds. This problem was on and off. It would happen non-stop for a week, and then disappear for another week or two, then it would be back. So later, a new problem came up, and the old one still kept happening. The phone would now have the image glitch out and freeze, with the only option being to press the off button, (nothing else would work.) The notification light would be on sometimes, and the bottom white buttons next to the home button would light up sometimes. I tried the down volume button and off button together for 7 seconds, wouldn't work. All the combinations and ways to turn it on wouldn't work. I couldn't turn my phone on. Later, somehow it would turn on with the same combinations I've been trying for 30 minutes. This problem would keep happening. I've restored my phone, and cleared my cache. Nothing has worked to stop this problem. I tried taking it in to Verizon, but the worker just told us that we weren't under warranty so he didn't even TRY fix it. I'm very frustrated with my phone and will take any help I can get. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central. Unfortunately there isn't much to do if you're out of warranty. I would have taken it back the first time it glitched after you got the replacement. I would call Verizon and ask to speak with a customer service supervisor. Explain to them what you have said here and see what you can work out. You lose nothing by trying.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately I already called Verizon, they suggested that I delete apps I had on my phone (Candy Crush and Clash Royale) because they said They said that they were very common to get viruses on. I didn't really think that super popular apps like those were so prone to viruses but I restored anyway. That didn't fix the problem.
