Why won't my Gear S2 smartwatch connect to my Galaxy S6?

As most of your re probably aware, the first instruction from the Gear S2 when you turn it on is to, 'Install Samsung Gear app on phone from Galaxy Apps or apps.samsung.com/gear.' - However, when I try to download the app from the Galaxy store, it already says installed, but it's not? When I go to setting and applications, the gear manager app is not listed. HELP please, just paid £250 for a watch, and wan't to make use of it!

you might want to go to the phones app menu in settings and scroll down to see if Samsung Gear app is listed if it is clear data, cache, reboot and try again.
