Why wont my goophone s9 plus log onto the internet?

[Android Central Question]

So I got a goophone s9 plus. I had to get a sim card kit to.activate it to straight talk. It will make calls do text messages and even hook up to wifi but no regular internet. I've tried everything I can think of. I've reset the access points or apn. When I try to manually do it the phone just wants to stay on the factory set apn. It wont let me select the apn I put in there. I've even tried to factory reset the phone. And I took it to a phone repair shop and still no luck. What do I do?

You can't add another APN? It won't allow you to alter the existing one .

Welcome to Android Central! Goophone is a knockoff brand that typically copies Samsung design. Unless you have definitive specs, it's always hard to know for sure which 4G network bands it supports. My guess is that the phone doesn't fully support the 4G bands that you're trying to use on Straight Talk.
