Why won't my HTC M7 turn on or charge?

My htc m7 won't turn on or charge.

There are no lights working even when plugged into the charger. The phone then starts to turn on but goes back off. It does this repeatedly until I unplug it from the charger. Anyone any idea what to do

Welcome to Android Central! Chances are that the battery has failed. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop to check for sure, and to get it replaced.
