Why won't my HTC ONE S turn on?

Yesterday I pulled my phone out of my pocket and it was turned off, which was strange because I hadn't turned it off, and I didn't think it could run out of battery since I had only been using it about an hour or less beforehand and it was over 80% to 100% charged. My phone has done this in the past, but only when it was around 20%, and then if I plugged it into charge, it would turn on again. Usually, I can hold the on button down and the home button etc will flash a few times, the phone will vibrate and the home screen will start up. This time, it didn't do anything. However, when I plug it in to try and charge it, the red light at the top turns on still (to show its on charge).
What is wrong with my phone?
Is it fixable?
My phone is about a year old. I charge it up every night, and use it all the time.

Re: HTC ONE S won't turn on

Welcome to Android Central! How long did you try holding down the power button? Sometimes, after an issue like this, you have to press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds before it powers on.

If that doesn't work, try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-14110

Re: HTC ONE S won't turn on

Hi, I've recently replaced my phone digitizer. After replacing it, the first time I switch it on it was working perfectly fine. Once I turn off the phone and try to switch it on again, the screen won't on.

However, when I pressed on button, the soft key blink. When I plugged, the LED light on indicating its charging. I've tried hard reset (soft key blink 15 times) and holding down the volume and power button. Could it be that the new digitizer just spoil again?

Thank you very much for any help
