AC Question
Why my LG g3 won't turn on?
Hi, everyone. Just a question to those who may have similar problem or have had the same problem. I'm looking for a possible solution before I finally decide whether I should try to save or ditch my LG g3.
I was charging the phone (OEM charger) when I decided to plug in a headphone to listen to a youtube video so I won't be disturbing other people in the room with me. Since I have this TPU plastic case, I tried to push in the plug of the headphone a little bit more to make sure it's snug. All of a sudden I heard this static-ky noise (like the one you hear on TV commercial-type of noise) then the screen went black on me.
My LG g3 is about 1 yr and 4 months old, battery was good, was on Android Lollipop. I tried turning the power back on , but it just got stuck on the LG logo. Charging light will flash blue and green and screen stays black. I didn't use it for like 3 days. Went back to charge it and when I did there was the battery with an 15/ empty sign with huge triangle sort of danger-triangle sign on it.
I ordered two supposedly-OEM batteries on Amazon. One gave me the same sign as my original OEM battery 15 charge and danger-type triangle sign while the other is a total DOA.
Then I ordered OEM battery for my LG g3 from LG.com itself - about $35 with S/H .... hubby told me to just cancel the order because if the 2 batteries from Amazon didn't work, it could be the phone itself that has a problem.
Minor problems with LG g3 didn't bother me as much, I don't want to replace it if I that is even imaginable at this situation I have (why spend money unnecessarily ..?), but if I can't save the phone by merely changing the battery, then my main problem would be the "stuffs" I have on my phone. I synced my phone a month ago and most of my photos are on the SD card .... contacts are on Google... So, yes I could change the phone anytime, but I like I said, why spend money unnecessarily if I could prevent it .... but if I HAVE to ... then I could do it (am I making sense?) ... I just want get the other "stuff" that I have on my phone first ... Then I could move on to the next smartphone there is ...
So, that is my dilemma right now --- can someone help me? Please? I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Mayeth
