Why won't my Lollipop update download?

why won't my lollipop update download

I have a LG G3 on T-mobile. I got the update to Lollipop notification today and when when I go to the update center it says the update is ready to download. I pressed "update" and not it just says "waiting to download." It's been like that for a while now. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the Wi-Fi and restarting my phone, nothing worked. What is going on?

Welcome to Android Central.

When I updated to 5.1 on my Nexus 5 a week or so ago, I had the same experience. Eventually however, it did download. Perhaps by now, yours has?

Had that happen to me as well. Then it took three hours to download..
