Why won't my note 8 music play in my seat altea 2015 yet my note 3 will

Different Bluetooth profiles. When the Note 8 is connected, open the Bluetooth page and check the seat connection (tap the connection to get to the page with the gear, or just tap the gear, depending on the version of Android). Make sure that Media is enabled. If here's no Media line, the Seat can't do Bluetooth Media with the Note 8. (They both have to be able to use the same Bluetooth profile for Media.)
