My phone won't activate

My old Droid Turbo broke and I have a new one. It won't activate, however. I know your old phone has to be off but I can't turn my old one off, as its damage won't let me interact with it. If I let its battery drain, will that work?

Verizon seems to be having an issue with the activation of new phones at the moment. I would wait a little and try.

Yeah i saw they had issues yesterday, you should be able to pop out the sim and put it in the new phone and go from there.

If you can't activate it yourself, call Verizon customer service. They will get it done for you.
