Android Central Question

So I have verizon for cell service, and at&t for my hotspot in my GMC truck. Now when I run android auto when I lose my cell signal (verizon) but still have 5 bar 4g lte hotspot (at&t) my phone doesn't automatically start pulling from the wifi.... yes its turned on and working... So basically if my verizon is out, the phone won't run of the hotspot even though that has 5 bars from at&t...

You have Verizon as the hotspot first ? And when signal lost you want Att to automatically be the hot spot ? I think you would have to input the hot spot individually when one loses the signal , I haven't heard of a way when one loses signal the other back it up . If Verizon is lost then choose Att device as hotspot manually

Welcome to Android Central! Are you keeping wi-fi off on the phone until you lose Verizon signal, and then you turn wi-fi on to connect to the hotspot?
