AC Question

I have a HTC one M7 and I was recording a video on my phone but when I clicked stop it said it was saving but then my phone froze and shut off. When I look in my gallery it shows the video is there but I can't play the video. Every time I click the video it says "Warning: media file type not supported". I've uploaded the video to my computer and it still won't play. Is there any way to fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! Chances are that the video didn't save properly, or the file got corrupted. Is it still listed as an mp4 file, or does it have some other file extension (or no extension at all)?

Hi!
I have had the same issue.
I recorded a short video and it played fine yesterday on my HTC One M9. But today when I tried to play it, it says "Media file type not supported"
It still shows as an mp4 file as well. Any idea on how I can correct this?

TIA
