Why won't my Samsung Edge pair?

Samsung Edge won't pair

I have a brand new Samsung Edge and it will not pair with my Bluetooth wireless ear bud. I'm on my second ear bud because I thought something was wrong with the first one I received.

Make sure nothing else is paired with it, especially anything running iOS.
