Why won't my samsung galaxy s6 turn on?

So I charged my phone last night like always. I unplugged it from the wall and the AT&T globe was on the screen, like someone had restarted it. But the lights on the bottom were on, and usually they aren't on. I got to school and none of the buttons were working and it still had the same screen. I put it in my locker. About 3 hours later, the screen was just black. Nothing else. I tried turning it on but nothing happened. I plugged it into the wall, and the charging battery screen pulled up. I again tried to turn it on but nothing happened. What do I do?

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge on a wall outlet for at least 6 hours, undisturbed. Then try to power on again.
