Why won't my Samsung Galaxy S9 connect to new wifi networks?

[Android Central Question]

My phone still has connection to saved networks that I have used in the past (this includes my home one), however, when it comes to connecting to new networks in the area, it won't let me connect to networks that need a password. It would let me type in the password, but the connect button remains disabled so I am unable to press it. Is this an update issue or what?
I have been including new bluetooth devices on my phone now, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have also tried restarting my phone, but still the same problem.

Try going settings >general managment>reset>reset network

Welcome to Android Central! Also, do you have any screen dimmer apps installed? Apps like those can sometimes interfere with onscreen buttons.

Another thing to check is to see if you have to scroll down in that login window for anything else you might have to enter.
