Please, please I hope someone can help. I upgraded to a note 20, after upgrade I had to switch my cell number. So when setting up Samsung Pay, I went to re verify the cards and it's still trying to send sms verification to my old number. I've updated new number on Samsung account and my bank accounts and still Samsung won't send to the new number. Has anyone experienced this or have any clue? I've reset Samsung pay 3 times now, and did factory reset twice. Samsung seems lost to my issue.

Well factory resetting your device has no barring on Samsung Pay, that's service that is accessed via Samsung and the app only displays retrieved information.

This link talks about editing your account information. It specifically mentions phone number... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...ANS00078427/&usg=AOvVaw26Sz9vF1YdGy-Zqm3Ld_Ur

If you continue to have issues Samsung should be able to help you especially since this is a financial matter. This link will take you to their contact page... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...ort/contact/&usg=AOvVaw1sYAOrp82wqPHFbrQjmedB

What if you use just your samsung email and leave number empty in samsung pay settings under profile ?

I thought it was the banks that send the verification code - not samsung

I guess that would depend on if you were setting it up for the first time or just trying to transfer it to a new device or log-in. If they were adding new cards to it and those cards wanted to verify that the actual card owner was attempting this action, I could see the cards sending a code. In this case it sounds like they already went through that and just wanted to activate Samsung Pay on this new device and needed to sign-in.
