Why won't my Samsung Tab 3 charge?

why wont my samsung tab 3 charge

I put it to charge but it does nothing. I put it to charge overnight but it did nothing. It does turn on but I am afraid it is going to discharge soon. The funny thing is that when I put it to charge it doesnt show the charging symbol but it does charge a little bit. Last night it was at 28% and in the morning it was at 29% so it only charged 1% overnight. Right now it is still charging and it is afternoon now and it is still at 29%. And it doesnt go down or up it just stay at 29%. If you had this problem and you fixed it please tell me. I would be really thankfull.

Check that the USB lead is good - such as by trying another - and that the USB port on the phone is clean and undamaged.

Try this.

Turn on the tablet, plug in the charger, push the On/Off button on the side then select restart.

Hopefully once it restarts the battery will show that it's charging.

This works for me.
