Why won't my screen let me swipe to unlock?

screen will not let me swipe to unlock

Lg g3 screen is acting up the screen will not unlock it like doesnt recognize i am swipimg my finger across it. Anyone know how to fix... this means i can not acess into my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it respond to your touch at all? Any recent drops, trauma or water exposure?

Try forcing a power off by pressing and holding Power for about 10-15 seconds until it shuts off. Then power back on again. Same thing?

My first question is what kind of screen protector do you have?
Some of the thicker glass ones really make it hard.

I can't unlock my screen and it talksback and does not respond to touch.
