SMS will not work after Lollipop update
I have a Verizon Wireless Galaxy S4 that I use on T-mobile network. Everything was working perfectly fine until I did the Lollipop update through Samsung Kies. Now I can't send regular text messages. I can receive regular messages, and both send and receive MMS messages. There is no damage to the phone because I have 2 of the same phones and both stop sending text at the same time after the update. I have been troubleshooting with T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Samsung for a week now. Nobody can figure out what is going wrong. I have cleared cache, resent the SMSC number to the phone, factory reset, start in safe mode,etc... Nothing works. So of course T-mobile gave up and told me buy a phone with them. Any suggestions on what could have happened and how to fix this. My phone is brand new, I don't want to spend money on another one.
