trying to scan for wifi networks but is stuck.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? So if you go to Settings>Wi-fi and turn on the wi-fi radio, you're saying that none of the available wi-fi networks in your vicinity show up? Does this happen no matter where you are?
