Why won't my tagital tablet let me perform a factory reset?

I forgot the pattern lock for my Tagital tablet. I forgot the user and recovery account as well. So i tried to perform a factory reset by using the power and volume buttons but it still doesnt go into recovery mode, only powers on to the main screen, which is locked. Why won't it let me perform a factory reset? What can i do to get back into my device?

That's Google's protection. You can't do a factory reset until you prove to the tablet that you're the owner. In the future, keep the information on another device in a password safe. Then you'll need only 1 password to get all your passwords, patterns, etc.

Remember that if you are able to do a hardware key factory reset, you'll still have to enter the Google username and password that were associated with the tablet after it restarts, since it will be considered an unauthorized factory reset.
