Why won't the back and home button light up for the Galaxy J3 Prime? Androind 7.0

[Android Central Question]

I got a J3 prime and I can't find the settings to turn the key touch light on. Switched the power mode button to off but still can't turn the key light on.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain that phone has backlights for the capacitative buttons? Budget phones sometimes don't.
