Why won't the bottom half of my e960 Nexus 4 work?

I cracked my screen and the bottom half of the screen (below the crack) was no longer responsive.

I replaced it with an LCD/Digitizer assembly and everything works well- except that while the screen is now perfect, it still doesn't register touches below approximately where the crack on the old screen was! Any ideas? Thanks!

Unlock Developer Options if you have not already done so. Once unlocked select Pointer Location in Developer Options. Now when you touch the screen and drag your finger across the screen you will get cross lines. If there is a break in the cross lines then your digitizer is damaged at that break point in the cross line. Unfortunately you could have received a bad or damaged replacement digitizer. Only other thought would be to unplug the digitizer from the main board and plug it back in. You may not have gotten a good connection when you reassembled it.
