Why would a samsung s7 edge freeze after nougat update and the galaxy app store?

My Samsung galaxy s7 edge completely froze when I went to update galaxy apps. I reset and worked again but froze again when I went back to app store.

Sometimes glitches can occur after an update.

If this was my situation I'd first clear the system cache.

Then if no improvement back up and Factory Reset.

Thank you for the assist. All seems ok now, i had thought it may be the update sofrware and after #2 crashed. I did clear sysrem crash after #2 crash. 1st time here, neat site, thank you. Bob
