I have an unlocked 512 on the Sprint network. Previously I had an S7 (also on Sprint) and it had Wi-Fi calling feature, where when I was home it would use the Wi-Fi network to make and receive calls. How can I get this on my Note 9? Where we live the cell signal can sometimes be spotty?

Sometimes it only works with phones that are not rooted and are on specific ROMs installed by the carrier (and not unlocked). Just call and ask your carrier. If you are lucky you'll get someone that knows what they are talking about (lol)

From everything I've read, both Sprint and Verizon lock you out of the wifi calling feature if using an unlocked phone. I had an unlocked Note 8 and was never able to get it to do wifi calling despite quite a bit of time on the phone with various levels of tech support. T-Mobile, however, has it open for unlocked phones.
