Alright, so there are some threads here a long time ago having the same title as my post, however couldn't find them

Anyway,it's been 2 weeks that I've been having connection issue with Wi-Fi. First I thought it was my provider that was having issues. So when the Wi-Fi connection drops out, I'll restart the modem and I'll connect my phone again and it will work. Then comes the time that restarting the modem once wont work anymore.

And now,
I'm streaming movies on my Smart TV and I don't have have any connection problem whilr my phone has a stronf Wi-Fi signal but wont load any app that requires internet connection.

The trick I'm doing now is restarting my phone and will connect, but restarting the phone takes time.

Hope you can give me tips on how to fix this.. Thank you..

Do you have a chromecast or google smart speaker? There have been issues with them causing severe wifi connectivity problems with certain routers. Google is supposed to be pushing out an update soon to fix it. Unplugging your chromecast and google connected speaker fixes the issue.

I had been having the same issue and unplugging mine made a tremendous difference, not only for my V20 but everything else on my network. Plugging it back in (I have not received the firmware update yet) will cause my network issues to return in about 15 minutes.

I just started using the AVIA app to connect to my Chromecast thru my 1 gig fIOS and it works perfect.

Same issues with connections to wifi however I updated the play services that was supposed to fix this and nothing has changed. I think it's more of an issue with LG firmware.
