Wi-Fi problems after 5.0 upgrade

Between me and my kids we have 5 Nexus 7 (2013) devices. Only one has received the OTA upgrade to 5.0 Lollipop. None of the others have been offered an upgrade.

The one that was upgraded seems to be working pretty well, except that it can't seem to remember the password to the WiFi network at the house. This device has been happily on wifi for the past year. We have not changed the router or any of it's settings. All the other Nexus devices are working perfectly.

Sometimes when we put the password in, it will work for a little while and then will stop. Other times, we put the password in, and as soon as it connected to the router, it drops off line again. You can tell when the password is forgotten because it no longer says "saved" when looking at the wifi list.

Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions on how to fix it? I want to avoid wiping the device if I can help it.
