Now my lock screen shows the time as;

With the day and date just below it. It used to show 11:15 towards the top left with the day and date to the right. I did not change anything.

Long press on your home screen, choose wallpaper and style, under lock screen scroll down to "more lock screen settings", uncheck dynamic clock.
