Widget problems on Lollipop?

First time poster here...I installed Lollipop on my GS5 last week and also turned on the Smart Lock feature. Since then, I've had issues with most widgets, save for the Google Calendar one. I've been running the Google Launcher instead of Touchwiz too. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how this could be fixed??
