Last week my V30 suddenly lost its Google search bar from my home screen. I assumed I had somehow removed it but when I went in to Widgets to add it back, all the options were only for lengths of four, whereas my screen has five and it always fitted beforehand. I can't drag it out either to resize it.
A week later I wake up this morning to find exactly the same thing has happened to my BBC Weather widget, and now that can only be the length of four icons too.
I've had no Android or other software updates recently. I've done various app updates but not yesterday before the loss of the weather widget. I'm on Android 8.0, not rooted, UK Vodafone.
Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it please so that I can have them across the whole screen again?
