So I'm trying to uninstall it but if won't. I first did it though the Market and it said it successfully uninstalled and no longer shows I have it in the Market. However, it still shows under my Applications when you go to it in my phone. I tried uninstalling it though that and no go. It says uninstall unsuccessful. I downloaded a few free uninstallers from the Market and got the same message.

I am rooted so I tried uninstalling it though Root Explorer. It says it is successful but it really isn't. It won't even freeze the app.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do next?

Did you have the widget(s) active and in use at the time you tried to un-install it?

I would see if it is running in the background and disable it before uninstalling. Do you have one of the Task Killer apps?

I have removed all the Widgets from my home screen before uninstalling. I also cleared the cache and force closed it before the uninstall. I even tried reinstalling it from the Market and it gave me a duplicate app.

I don't have a task killer.

This is issue is caused by the fact that Widgetsoid installs itself as a device administrator so it can "force lock". All you have to do is go to Settings/Security/Device Administrators and uncheck the Widgetsoid application. It can then be uninstalled normally.
