wifi and comparing

I am chargin up my ipod touch to compare its signal to my evos. I see alot of complaints about weak signal obviously i wish it was better so. I dont have an iphone to compare it to, but after turning on my ipod and browsing with it, it just seem too slow for my taste. I am curious to see what it compares to for range on wifi and speed test againt the evo.

Yep, I have an iPhone 3g and 3gs and both have better range than the EVO as far as what the graphic shows. Speed-wise the difference was negligible in my tests (used speedtest app on all three devices).

how far is the actual range diff? 10' 50' 100' 1/4 mile?
