My phone can't seem to keep a lock on the wifi at work, even though it is a very strong signal. This just started yesterday, it was fine until then. Now it just connects for a few seconds, then disconnects, back and forth.

What's up?

None of our computers are having a problem with the connection, we are all using wireless adapters. Very odd.

I have this problem. Is your network secured?

When this happens, I have to go to Wi-Fi settings and manually reconnect it. It asks for my credential storage password, and then that usually fixes it.

If it doesn't, a reboot sometimes does.

No, it is open, no security. I did try a reboot, and this didn't seem to help, still toggling back and forth.

Weird! Delete the connection and make it again?

Sorry, I don't know what else to suggest.

Hey, that is a good idea, I will try that.

Edit: It will not let me delete, only forget, then it added it back and now I have two of the same connection. Sometimes it will stay connected for about 5 minutes, the rest of the time, it just connects and disconnects back and forth.

Anyone have any other solutions to this? I have virtually the same problem.

My wifi connection at work continually connects, disconnects, and reconnects every couple seconds. This started just a few days ago and re-entering the wifi connection or rebooting don't help at all. This has been draining my battery in a matter of hours. Even if I have wifi set to turn off when the screen is off, it's still waking up the phone and wasting battery.

There's a keep awake setting somewhere isn't there? Maybe in Power settings?

I went into my settings and switched from "never sleep" to "after 15" minutes then back to "never sleep". It seems to have helped a bit but I am still having all kinds of random connectivity issues.

try disconnecting your wireless adapters....keep them unplugged for a few mins. and then plug them in....let them reboot normally. This will clear out the cache on the router. Also, reset your modem also at the same time.

I suspect you're right since it seems to only be happening on that one network (even while the screen is on). Unfortunately I can't reset the router, but turning my wifi off at work should be enough for a few weeks and then I'll try again.
