wifi at work

My work just got a wifi connection,it pops up on my phone as a unsucured spot and i can.connect to it. The phone connects and changes to wifi but it seems no data is being transfered im confused

Sounds like it might be the router, not your phone. Contact your network administrator and see if that might be the problem. Unless of course you aren't supposed to be using your phone of course
