So I am connected to wifi most of the time with my S3 (Rogers running 4.1.1). I am having issues with notifications while connected to wifi. I have noticed that notifications, mostly for app updates and new gmail messages, are not coming in until I turn wifi off. Is this something that others are experiencing and does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thanks!

No, not seeing that problem at all. SGSIII on Verizon, and I also spend most of my time on WiFi. Only thing I can suggest is a Factory Reset and then see what happens. Sorry.

Mine is on Sprint, but I haven't seen this. I'm on wifi almost all day, and get text notifications, play store notifications, mail notifications, and everything else without issue.

Are you connected to a work wifi network or anything like that? My office network blocks access to some email providers and things like that.

This. I don't think it's your phone.. It matters what wifi network you are connected to. My work wifi blocks the push service for Google so I will get no email notifications unless I go to mobile data.

When I am at home on my wifi or on a friend's there are no issues since we don't block anything.
