I am trying to get connected to my laptop to download some data from my phone - done this successfully in the past either by USB (preferred) or wifi.

Now no method is working!

The wifi connection keeps looking for ip address, finding it and then saying disconnected - on my home wifi box that i've had no problems using successfully with this phone for a few years. The broadband supplier have changed the channel for me - no change.

I have had trouble connecting phone with USB in the past but had solved it by going to settings; usb utilities; and connecting that way - now that is not working - I have tried enabling USB de-bugging - but each time I try to connect the phone via USB via the USB utilities I get an errror message saying disconnect USB de-bugging...

I've tried the bluetooth connection - cannot send or receive data - when sending my device apparently refuses it - when sending the pairing doesn't seem to happen - though the device is recognised by my MacBook and I've been succesful doing this before.

When I look at the Wifi advanced settings - the IP address says 'unobtainable'. When I try to open picrtures to view on my phone getting an error message saying 'not enough memory, delete some'. I've since deleted some unwanted apps = no change in error message - wierdly I can open pictures in Picture Editor app, but not in the Gallery (came with Samsung phone) app...

Running on original software I believe - no upgrades as yet.

Any advice would be very welcome!

Try downloading drivers for Samsung mobile devices, and install them.

Just looking for USB drivers for this - only seem to be available for PC....I'm using a MacBook - all was working fine until now.
