Hi there,

When we lived in town and my Note 5 was connected to my WiFi I could make and receive calls. Why then would one need WiFi Calling?

Thanks,
Deb

That sounds like you had a decent cell signal still so it worked. If you're in a place with low to no service but have WiFi you can use the WiFi to call / txt due to the no cell signal.

That helps a LOT, thank you :)

My Note 5 does not have a WiFi calling app in the drop down from the top but the TMO phones we are testing do. So, if WiFi calling is enabled
I can still make and receive calls on it, correct? Wait, that won't work I don't think because I think my phone has told me that I can't have hotspot and WiFi on at the same time.
