Need help. Wifi calling is enabled but is not working. I've tried turning on airplane mode then wifi to force and I cannot call out. I had an unlocked s22 unlocked on Verizon (wifi calling didn't work), bought iphone 13 pro max ( wifi calling worked), hated iphone so I went back to a Verizon and bought s22 ultra (wifi calling not working). I don't understand why wifi calling doesn't work on the Samsungs unlocked and locked but it does on my family's iphones. Wifi calling and everything is enabled on my account. Does anyone have any tips before I call customer service tomorrow? I feel like I've tried everything. Reset phone and reset network settings, turned wifi calling on and off, reset router, bought different phone, disabled and re enabled wifi calling in Verizon account. Very frustrating. Previous phone s21 ultra unlocked worked just fine on wifi calling.

I have an unlocked S22 Ultra from Samsung running unlocked firmware, and WiFi calling works fine for me on Verizon.

For roaming network preferred, I have wifi preferred. That's really the only settings I see. There's not even a wifi calling toggle in the quick settings but in settings it's toggled on. Weird

Question did you flash meaning odin a firmware, or is it the firmware the phone came with, reason i ask this cause there should also be a toggle.

Tried that. After I did that I got to wifi calling activation screen, activated, but still no wifi calling. Got excited for a second. I talked to Verizon technical support and they basically are saying that it's on and I just don't understand that it's on but I try to explain to him that I've had Wi-Fi calling for years and I'm telling them that it's not on. when I switch to the iPhone for a few weeks it was immediately on and you knew it was on. just like with the Samsung's you know when you're on Wi-Fi calling. I swear it's something with only my phones that aren't working. I'm going to reset one of my phones and see if maybe I just load the bare minimum and see if possibly it's an app that's causing issue or setting in one of the apps.

Try safe mode , quicker then factory reset

tried safe mode but I didn't see anything. I think I'm going to try changing out the router system and maybe even the modem at home. even though I've tried it at my office would that Wi-Fi I still wonder if something's going on with my Wi-Fi at home. I have the orbi mesh system 6E and I'm not sure if maybe there's something funny with that. I do know ever since I got that system about 6 months ago we've had unstable internet meaning it goes out every couple days for a minute or so and then is fine.

Yes. What's weird is that it didn't work at office either. it's as if when I originally setup routers it permanently disabled something. Resetting everything did the trick though.
