WIFI calling

I've got it on my S4,it activates when I'm connected to a WiFi signal. Do you have 4.4.2?

Yeah..how do you know if it is active or not????

Go to settings then network connections and the on/off toggle will be on top.

I believe this is the case with the newer S4 models. The original set of S4s will not have wifi calling. I do not believe it will work on the older models of S4

And how can you tell if you have the ability or not? Or if you have a newer model? I have had mine since last October.

ovdevil has it because he has the tri band S4. I have the SPH-L720 like "packhntr" and they said we don't have it and may not get it

The problem I have with the WiFi calling is that there is a delay with the connection on an incoming or outgoing call, I have great wifi speed so it is something I have to get used to.

Well, according to the latest news from Sprint Zone, ALL S4's are to have the ability....there is an APP that is required, but I cannot find it anywhere on the phone or to download.

Original S4 needs an update pushed for WiFi calling - which hasn't happened and I'm doubting it ever will

Well, My S4 is dead....thought the screen had a crack in it, so I got a new screen. got the old one off only to discover it is the digitizer that's cracked. So, using the insurance I pay for every month, I have a new phone enroute....will be here tomorrow. Will see what version it is and proceed from there. Sprint sent me an Airwave a while ago as my apartment has poor reception. Ever since a storm a few weeks back, it's not acted right though....like it can't connect to a tower. Weird. Going to have to trouble shoot the damn thing.

I was told by a tech who tried to send me the download, that my S4 is too old and will not be able to WI-FI call. Only the newer S4 will have the capability. So they sent me an Airwave.
