WiFi has stopped working

Last night before bed my Tab S2 (WiFi only) was working fine. No issues at all. I plugged it in and went to sleep. This morning I wake up and the tablet won't wake. Sometime during the night it shut itself off, so I turned it back on again and didn't think much of it. When it restarted I got a couple of notifications but any time I actively tried to do something (check e-mail, open Facebook) the WiFi connection shuts down. I've restarted a few times this morning and it's the same every time. WiFi connects, then I try to do something and it disconnects. In the WiFi settings it just shows that it's trying to connect. I'm wondering if an app update last night jacked up the tablet, but I can't even get into the Google Play store to see what recently updated. Any idea what I should do? Is a factory reset going to be my best bet?

Thanks Mav. I'll check it out.

EDIT: Eh, unfortunately none of those items are going to work for me. Most of them apply to checking the network. I started out having the problem at home, but now I'm at work on their guest network and having the same issues. The WiFi on my phone has been working in both places. I was going to attempt to forget the network, but I can't even get to that point. When I go into the WiFi settings it says "Turning on..." where the list of networks would be, but it never shows a network to forget. After a period of time the tablet either just stops trying to connect or reboots itself. I've seen it do both and there's no rhyme or reason to it.

Uggh, evidently I have bigger issues than just WiFi. Now I can't get the darn thing to turn on. The battery was at 100% this morning, and near 85% at lunch time. I get back from lunch and it's shut down again so I try to turn it on. I get to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 - Powered by Android screen and that's it. Screen goes black. Keeps doing it over and over. I have a charger here and that's not helping. Not sure what to do now.
