Good question. I did it with my jailbroken iPhone but now since I'm using the inspire I'd be interested to know if there is an equivalent app to mywi

you would more than likely have to root to get hotspot functionality without paying the tethering fee...

pda net is a tethering app ^^ but works fine for non secured websites.

but for mifi or wifi hotspot, root with a custom rom like Cyanogenmod (when it comes out) will have that ability. I have it on my aria and that was one of the coolest most useful advantages of that. plus 2.2 and aps2sd on an aria. now I have an aria on steroids(Inspire 4G of course) and can't wait for the potential...
