Wifi internet only works with home connection

My Note 4 connects to and works fine with my home wifi. Every other wifi connection (school, other homes, businesses, etc.) it shows it has a connection (wifi symbol turns on) but there's no internet. I believe this started happening after installing Lollipop. Before it used to connect no matter where the connection came from (after initially logging in through a website, if required). I'm looking under the wifi options but they seem to be minimal so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this issue.

Go to each connection, as you get in the vicinity of that signal, tap it and tap Forget. Then connect.
